@inUSA does it need to be one of those? Alexandra is...OK. But kind of reminds me.of an uptight school mistress.

KiLeigh is terrible.

Alexis?

HugoYorway · 14/01/2025 10:53

I imagine you are American and I don’t think KiLeigh would be so strange there. But it will not work internationally as evidenced by the reactions here. If you choose KiLeigh then please spell it Kylie.

Alexandra is a lot more classic and easier to understand how to say and spell. Great nickname options too (Alex, Lexi, Xandy, Ally, Andra etc).

This is random but have you considered Everly? It sounds like a storybook name but is also trendy and American sounding. It’s maybe a nice balance between the two polar opposite styles you appear to like.

Notdoingthatno · 14/01/2025 11:07

KiLeigh?? You cannot be serious.

You do know that in real life, children are still taught proper spelling and grammar? A capital letter does not belong in the middle of a word, nevermind a name.

SallyWD · 14/01/2025 11:25

Alexandra is a good, strong classic name. KiLeigh is well...I don't quite know what to say.

eqpi4t2hbsnktd · 14/01/2025 11:31

Whether is Kill-lee, Kylie, Kayleigh or any other awful name... go with Alexandra

RaraRachael · 14/01/2025 11:43

Alexandrs is a real name.
If you call her KiLeigh she will go through life with people constantly asking her how to spell or pronounce it.

SnidelyWhiplash · 14/01/2025 11:46

Absolutely 😂 at KiLeigh. Is she a robot?

How is it pronounced? Kill-Lee? Kylie?

Didshejustsaythatoutloud · 14/01/2025 11:52

Naw,......jist naw 😮

SnowFrogJelly · 14/01/2025 11:54

SnowFrogJelly · 14/01/2025 11:55

Is KiLeigh even a name

BabyFever246 · 14/01/2025 11:59

Alexandra.

Kileigh people will assume is a tragedeigh name where mum is trying to make Kylie 'unique'. Also I looked it up and it means 'boomerang' - please do not inflict that on a little girl.

Whoarethoseguys · 14/01/2025 12:10

Definitely Alexandra. It's a lovely traditional timeless name with lots of opportunities to shorten it.

HereBeWormholes · 14/01/2025 12:10

What's wrong with a traditional girl's name like Balonza?
