Although it was my decision to end the relationship due to his selfish behaviour. I do really miss him
and want him back but I don’t think he will change. He is always on my mind and I think he has already moved on with somebody else

Think you need to move on and do not get involved if he already has moved on. Exes are that for a reason, should be kept that way or it would've worked out when had chance- it never .

Just do your best to distract yourself from thoughts of him. The relationship is over for a good reason.

And at some point you had that with them.
But it ended for a reason. And that reason will still be there if you got back together.

I know it's hard but I think you can and should move on to better things. Don't get dragged back into the past, it sounds like he's moved forward and it's time for you to do the same by finding someone new or enjoying being single for a while. Do what's right for you.
