Middle names for baby girl Shiloh?

EzWin2 · 27/12/2024 22:53

Shiloh Tess Louise
Shiloh Louisa Tess
Shiloh Tessie Louise

Thinking of honouring my MIL but would also like to acknowledge my side of the family by using my MN, Louise. Both of our other children have two middle names that honour family, so I would like the same for next baby.
Difficulty is what names do I use and in what order?? Middle name options are Louise, Louisa, Tessie, Tess. Pls Help!!

I don't think the -lo ending and Lou- beginning sounds go together, so apart from Shiloh Louise/Louisa, all options are fine.

TenThousandSpoons · 27/12/2024 22:57

All are nice. I would do the T before the L only to avoid SLT initials.

Nikitaspearlearring · 27/12/2024 22:59

Tessie sounds like a nickname though, so I would go for Tess rather than Tessie. I've always loved the name Tess.

How about Shiloh Tessa Louise?

Ikeameatballs · 27/12/2024 23:02

Shiloh Tess Louise is best but I’m not convinced they flow very well.

Could you use Teresa/Therese instead of Tess?

Shiloh Therese Louise.

How about Shiloh Tessa Louise?

I’ve had this suggested to me before but she isn’t called Tessa so I would feel like I’m not really honouring her. If that makes sense.

Shiloh Therese Louise.

Her full name is Teresita but she goes by Tessie/ Tess. But I’m not too keen on Teresita. I’m so confused! lol

I think they are all good names, and good combinations!

I voted for Shiloh Tess Louise.

Yes that makes sense 😊

I like Shiloh Tess Louise or Shiloh Louisa Tess - both are lovely.

Pite?

I don't like Shiloh. Tess/Teresita and Louisa are nice.

Resilienceisimportant · 28/12/2024 00:11

Unless it’s Shiloh Jolie. 😂

SnowFrogJelly · 28/12/2024 00:33

Drop the Shiloh

It's a name for a ranch

wandawaves · 28/12/2024 00:39

Shiloh Teresita Louise is by far the best.

I love the names Tess and Louise and Louisa.

Shiloh Tess Louise is the best on your list. 10/10
Shiloh Teresita Louise is second best for me.

Tess Louise goes well following most names.

eg...
Margaret Tess Louise
Louisa Tess
Philippa Tess Louise
Lila Tess Louise
Charlotte Tess Louise
Tamika Tess Louise
Carla Tess Louse

mathanxiety · 28/12/2024 05:24

Shiloh Louisa Tess sounds nice.

mathanxiety · 28/12/2024 05:26

Shiloh Teresita Louise is really nice imo. I think you should use the full BC name.

Butchyrestingface · 28/12/2024 05:46

None of them flow well, I don’t think.

Alternatively, people might ask her if she’s speaking to her dad yet.

PurpleDiva22 · 28/12/2024 06:36

Her middle names will rarely be used so I wouldn't overthink it or get too caught up in deciding. I also think when the middle name is in honour of someone, the flow of a name becomes less important.

Shiloh Tess Louise is my favourite

EzWin2 · 28/12/2024 13:36

I think we are down to these two options..
Shiloh Tess Louise
Shiloh Louisa Tess

Of the two Tess Louise. I'd concentrate on Shiloh Surname. Does that sound OK. The middle names don't really flow.

Shiloh Tess Louise
