Hi everyone,

Could you please answer the poll on the name you like most? Surname of the baby will be Greek with l, s, n and a as prominent letters

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

What poll

I don't like any of them. Elena is OK but is it El-ain-a/Ellen-a/El-enna? it will probably be Ellie. Elena with the accent looks wrong.
Selene is not too bad but it will get spelt Celine.
Selena has different spellings.

shoopshoopdedoo · 22/12/2024 15:28

I like Elena best of your choices, though prefer Eleni if baby has Greek heritage!

MistyF · 22/12/2024 15:36

I like Selena the best, but Selena might get pronounced Selina and Selenna and I prefer Selina (as well as this spelling) to Selena

Elena

SkaneTos · 22/12/2024 22:50

I voted for Selena in this poll.

NewName24 · 22/12/2024 23:33

I think it depends a bit on where you will be living. (Which country)

How do you pronounce Elena and Elena with an accent ?

The poll under the OP.

I really like Elena.

There's no poll on the app

I voted Selene as I think it’s a stunning, elegant, underused name, with lovely imagery (of the moon Goddess). I like both the Greek and English pronunciations but you’d have to accept that discrepancy depending on which country you live in.

Selene is nice.
