Both are nice. Prefer Susannah but Susanna seems more international. Susie is lovely.

SkaneTos · 10/12/2024 23:10

They are both good spellings.
I am used to spell Susanna without an h, beacuse that is how it's spelled in my Scandinavian home country, so I voted for that.

Susannah

No h looks unfinished to me

It's a great choice - lovely underused name

OtterOnAPlane · 11/12/2024 09:33

Susannah.

Really good name!

Sunnyflow · 11/12/2024 09:56

Susanna

Mygreyhair · 11/12/2024 10:05

My 3 year old Susanna was once asked how to spell her name. She said ‘two Ss, two As, 2 Ns and one U!’ which amused me no end but totally confused the person who asked 😂

With an H. Gorgeous name

WhereAreWeNow · 11/12/2024 10:07

Such a lovely name.

Duckyfondant · 11/12/2024 10:07

Without the pointless h

Manchesterbythesea · 11/12/2024 10:08

With the ‘h’ for sure. Gorgeous name!

CruCru · 11/12/2024 11:31

With the “h”.

Sunnyflow · 11/12/2024 12:58

Why the H?

KirstenBlest · 11/12/2024 16:12

@Sunnyflow , that's the standard UK spelling.

theotherfossilsister · 11/12/2024 16:27

One of my favourite names. I voted with the h but now waivering.

Happyinarcon · 11/12/2024 16:34

With the H, otherwise its like going out without a hat on

ginasevern · 11/12/2024 16:40

It's a fabulous name and such a refreshing change from the ubiquitous Darcy, Ellie, Sophia etc. I prefer it with an "h" as Susanna looks rather incomplete somehow.

hiddenselkie · 11/12/2024 16:40

I like Susanna the best, but not sure would it look weird without the H. There are various spelling across Europe and world.

allmybooksarefromthelibrary · 11/12/2024 16:42

Either are fine - I like the name a lot.

JiminaSlump · 11/12/2024 17:18

LOVE Susannah. DH vetoed it for our second DC's name list and I am still angry with him for that.

KirstenBlest · 11/12/2024 17:31

@JiminaSlump , bet little Noah is glad you didn't get your own way. Smile

BlackLambAndGreyFalcon · 11/12/2024 17:35

I voted for with the h, but my favourite spelling is the German spelling Susanne (same pronunciation as Susanna/Susannah) but unfortunately no way that would work in the UK!

The German name Susanne sounds different than Susannah or Susanna.

salamithumbs · 11/12/2024 18:34

I prefer Susanna!

OtterOnAPlane · 11/12/2024 19:24

You've now got me pondering Suzannah OP...

KateF · 11/12/2024 20:47

Mine is Susannah but we have had a wide variety of spellings in cards over the years!
