I’m pregnant with baby number 2 and really struggling with names. We’re team yellow so need girls and boys names.

We have a daughter called Everly and surname starts with a R so avoiding R names.

I like Ayla and Alanna for a girl but my partner isn’t keen & really struggling for a boy’s name.

Any suggestions would be welcome please!

Alana is lovely and works well with Everly imo (Alanna will be regularly misspelt though, as Alana is more widely used).

For boys - maybe something nature based like Heath or Rowan? Or perhaps a less common Biblical name like Caleb or Jared?

I'm with your DH. Ayla is nothingy. Alanna seems dated and gets said as Alanna and Ala(r)na, and there are different spellings like Alana and Alannah.

You seem to like vowelly names, but I'd avoid an E name and a 3-syllable name ending in -y, so not Emily, Elodie, Amelie etc.

What kind of boys' names do you like, don't like, can't use etc?
