I like shirt and simple, but not something too common.

Like I Ash but my partner doesn't.

We struggled with our son's name! Our criteria was simple, easy to spell and pronounce. We did stick to more common names when deciding such as:

Ben
Edward
Alex
Zack/Jack
Luke

Ultimately went for Jack and we're happy with that, we've so far yet to come across another Jack.

My cousin's children are Reid and Clay both of which are short names but less common
