Hi all, I feel so lucky to be having the dilemma of finding three baby names!! I already have 2 sons: Hugo Wesley and Xander Wills. My trio are due in 3 months and we are so eager to meet them!! I am having 2 boys and a girl. Our options are below, let me know what you think and if you have any suggestion you think will fit, our only criteria is that the middle names must all begin with a W, to pay homage to my maiden name :)
Boys:
Luca Wade
Braxton Wade
Braxton Warren
Jamie Warren
Quinn Warren
Caleb Wyatt
Levi Wyatt
Mateo Wyatt
Mateo Webster
Mateo Wester
Ollie Wade
Max Wade
Theodore Whittaker
Henry Wilbur
Henry Wyatt
Henry Webster
Girl:
Nicolette Wren
Mia Willow
Violet Willa
Lydia Willa
Lydia Wendy
Scarlett Whitney
Elodie Waverly
Elodie Wren
Ophelia Wren
Keira Whitney
Keira Willow

Thanks in advance everyone!!

Personally I think Elodie Wren is just darling! So is Max Wade!

17caterpillars1mouse · 28/10/2024 22:56

Luca, Caleb and Lydia Willow

StressedQueen · 28/10/2024 22:59

You are having triplets - that is insane! Congratulations.

Don't really have an opinion on the middle names but I'll give you my first name opinions. Although I LOVE Wren and Willow/Willa a lot, very pretty. Wren pretty much goes with any first name and it's a very solid middle name.

Boys:
Luca - Absolutely love
Braxton - Not a fan at all
Jamie - Really nice and sweet! James might be better though
Quinn - Not for me
Caleb - Nice enough
Levi - No
Mateo - I quite like it
Ollie - Only as Oliver
Max - I like it
Theodore - Love this
Henry - Really good

Girl:
Nicolette - Hmm not a fan. Nicola?
Mia - Not for me
Violet - It's really pretty
Lydia - GORGEOUS
Scarlett - It's okay
Elodie - Very pretty. Eloise?
Ophelia - Gorgeous
Keira - I like it and makes me think of Keira Knightley

I think having different first name initials might be good.

James, Theodore and Lydia?
Luca, Henry and Ophelia?

Elodie or Lydia wren
Levi and Quinn

Moreteaandchocolate · 28/10/2024 23:14

I find it easier to sort the first names first. I’d scrap Henry if you don’t want shared initials with Hugo.

My favourite of your boys names are

Max
Luca
Jamie
(Olly and Theo are lovely but every other boy is called these near me, and Hugo and Xander are not as overused?)

Girls favourites

Keira
Mia
Violet
Lydia

Combinations

Hugo, Xander,…

Max, Luca and Violet
Max, Jamie and Lydia
Max, Luca and Kiera
Jamie, Luca and Mia

Favourite middle names are Wade and Wren

TianasBayou · 28/10/2024 23:16

Hugo, Xander, Ollie, Max and Lydia

Zoomo · 28/10/2024 23:17

Elodie Wren

urbanbuddha · 28/10/2024 23:18

Quinn Webster
Caleb Wyatt

Elodie Wren

OooSorryDoctor · 28/10/2024 23:22

Lovely list of names bar Braxton and Nicolette, reminds me of Braxton Hicks and Nicorette nicotine patches 🤷‍♀️

PurpleChrayn · 28/10/2024 23:33

Not Ophelia Wren. It sounds like a Victorian euphemism for feeling someone's privates.

TheMummyJade · 28/10/2024 23:53

@OooSorryDoctor Now that you say this, I totally agree 🤣

Keira Willow is lovely, I like Henry Wyatt from your boys list

RogueFemale · 29/10/2024 03:06

I like Henry, Violet and Scarlett but not keen on the rest. Prefer Eloise to Elodie (which sounds as if the 'm' of melody is missing).

Why not use your actual W maiden name as the middle name?

If you're after a 'homage' W, then Wren doesn't work as it's pronounced with an R.

Wendy and Wilbur are awful. Most of the W names are awful unless they're your maiden name.

I would say don't get stuck on the W thing.

Triplets don't have to be matchy. They can all have their own unique vibe.

TheMummyJade · 29/10/2024 03:21

I did give my maiden name to my first son, but didn't want all of my children to have the same middle name, my husband and I felt that it kind of dulled the special meaning. And I totally agree with the point you make about the name Wren and the sound that the W makes.

Congratulations! I like all the boys’ names except Braxton. It’s not as classy as the others.

Henry, Theo and Ophelia are all really
popular right now if you were hoping for something more unusual I would probably avoid them. If you don’t mind, go for it.

TheMummyJade · 29/10/2024 03:56

@Lemonadeand I don't mind them being super popular, but do you think it will be the situation where they have several kids with the same name at their school 😅 ?
