21 weeks pregnant, starting to think of names

Options so far are:

• Isla
• Lyla
• Arabella

I lovee Lyla, very pretty and gorgeous. Lyra is also very nice

Isla is quite nice too but very popular.

Not a huge fan of Arabella to be honest; it is a little frilly. I like Belle, Isabelle, Annabel etc. though but they are all popular.

Arabella always makes me think small round bratty girl that goes to a private school - no idea why !

Isla is okay.

I personally don't like either of the others.

I like all 3. All quite popular currently in the 0 - 12 kind of age range but none of them are ridiculously overused (Isla might be approaching this category but it's a lovely name so who cares!)

I think Arabella is my favourite.

Almost totally agree with the first poster, actually, except I also dislike Belle and Isabelle for being too frilly/princessy. Don’t mind the suggestion of Annabel though, if spelt like that!

Arabella

Isla - pretty but overused
Lyla - I don't like it. Too many similar names like Lily, Lyra, Lola, Lila, Lilah, Delilah, Luna , Layla.
Arabella - pretty but too long and will be Bella or Ella. It's bit too frilly and Ella and Bella are meh.

Isla is lovely and not particularly common where I live. Lyla/Lilah is generally a very chavvy name where I’m from though this doesn’t seem to be the case everywhere. Arabella sounds pretentious to me, Annabel/Annabelle is much nicer!

Delilah

Isla is my fave.
The others are sweet.
