Down to 3 names, middle name will be Michael after grandparent.

Barney (my favourite)
Alfie (DH's favourite)
Harvey

The purple dinosaur reference doesn't bother me, pretty sure that will not be on anyone's radar for this new generation.

Be kind 🤣🫣

Any other similar suggestions? I guess I like nicknamey names, but nothing too popular.

Barney is great. As are the long versions

Ive bever liked Alfie i find it rather dull..
Harvey is ok but nowhere near as great as Barney

My son’s friend has a younger brother called Barnes, after Barnes Wallis.

KirstenBlest · 18/10/2024 19:28

Barnaby could be shortened to Barney. I know 2 each of Barnaby and Barnabas.
Harvey is OK.
Alfie is OK but overused.

Barnaby nn Barney is my favourite, then Harvey.

Barney is the best, but I would use Barnaby or Barnabas as the official name.

Harvey is OK.

Alfie is terrible - real East End gangster vibes.

Sorry, I know 2 Barnabys, and 2 Barneys (one is Barnabas and the other is Barnaby). I like all the names but I like Barnaby more.

I prefer Alfred or Barnaby. Alfred Michael is my favourite. Barney is nicer than Alfie. Not keen on Harvey.

I agree!

Also the Barneys and one Barnaby are adult men, and the names don't seem 'cutesy'. They just seem like normal names for men.
