I love the name. Think it's understated & would travel well. Also think it's quite classless & can't be judged too quickly.
Any opinions?!

my grandmother was a Molly so I think of her. A capable no-nonsense country woman. The sort who'd be pulling a lamb out of a ewe with one hand and whipping up a plate of sandwiches with the other.

I thought it was unusable because of the MDMA connection but i was so wrong - now i know several Molly's and havent thought of it once. Go for it, i like it a lot!

To me it comes across quite posh and middle/upper class as well as childish.

I personally don't like it at all and think whilst it's cute, wouldn't stand up well if dc had higher career aspirations in life eg "our CEO, Molly...." just doesn't sound likely. However, I'm one person, my opinion counts for nothing if you like it.

I teach a million teenage Mollys.
It's a forgettable name, like Ellie, Evie, Ava.

A million ?

I don’t love it OP. But that’s my taste.

To me Molly (and most ‘ee’ sounding names) are too soft. It reminds me vaguely of ‘dolly’ and rag dolls. I do also think of the drug! But that’s my misspent youth talking. 😬

I believe the person makes the name though so if you love it go for it.

A million ?

Well, you know, feels like that. One or two in every class, in every year.
