Hello,
looking for some unique girl names that work in Egypt as my husband is Egyptian Muslim. I have Heidi on the list. What about Daphne? I know it has Turkish origins but would it be pronounceable there? Already have a Lara.

If you are using an 'English' name, avoid names with J and G (e.g. Jane, Bridget, Georgia), P and V (e.g. Paula and Verity).
Avoid names with vowel sounds like o, ay and au (e.g. Layla, Aurora, Laura)
Anything else should be OK.

If you are using an Arabic name, check that there are equivalent sounds in English. Some names are beautiful but the anglicized versions aren't. (e.g. Rym)

I'm not Egyptian but I've been there on holiday once so I'm an expert Smile

Avoid her first daughter's name?

لارا Lovely name.

I would go for something like Lara, not particularly Muslim.
Yasmin would work and is pretty.

I like Heidi.
