Molly Olivia - completely fine names, but not a fan of OL sound in both names
Poppy Olivia - not fan of Poppy, but completely fine combo of names
Olivia Violet - this one is lovely and my favorite, love Violet
Lottie Mabel - prefer Charlotte to Lottie, but love Mabel, this is my second favorite

loropianalover · 23/09/2024 13:35

Lottie Mabel, but I’d put Charlotte on birth cert.

Molly would be my second choice, I love that name.

Lottelou · 23/09/2024 13:47

Thank you both. Nancy Violet.. another possible combination. Forgot to mention it above ☝️

I like Nancy more than Olivia, so this is now my first favorite

SatinHeart · 23/09/2024 14:04

Olivia Violet is my favourite followed by Molly Olivia.

Purely personal preference but I'm not a fan of Lottie, Poppy or Nancy.

17caterpillars1mouse · 23/09/2024 14:10

Molly Olivia - I like Molly and I like Olivia as a middle name, it's so common as a first name but surprisingly unexpected in the middle

Poppy Olivia - I find Poppy a bit meh. It sounds young and toddleresque and auto corrects to poopy

Olivia Violet - whilst i like Olivia in the mn spot its a bit done to death as a first name. Violet is faddy

Lottie Mabel - I like Charlotte but not Lottie as a full name. Mabel is cute but Charlotte Olivia would be a beautiful choice

From your list I like Molly Olivia best

Mumofgirls2017 · 23/09/2024 15:02

Molly olivia

Detest Violet and not keen on Poppy.

Exactly my thoughts here

I would add (and choose) Violet Olivia 💜

Moreteaandchocolate · 23/09/2024 16:02

I like all of your name ideas! My order of preference would be

  1. Molly Olivia - gorgeous name
  2. Poppy Olivia - I know several adult Poppy’s and it suits them well
  3. Olivia Violet - gorgeous but every other girl seems to be called Olivia round me
  4. Lottie Mabel - beautiful but I’d use Charlotte Mabel nn Lottie
Twoshoesnewshoes · 23/09/2024 16:22

Definitely Nancy
Olivia is so popular, and, IMO, the others sound like names for a dog

Nicebloomers · 23/09/2024 16:29

Nancy Mabel or Charlotte Mabel

I really like Mabel as a first name too. Mabel Olivia is nice.

Just check the initials don’t spell anything out you don’t like if you are using an O middle name. Ie Poppy Olivia Taylor- POT

VoteLabour · 23/09/2024 19:35

Molly Olivia - Molly Olly
Poppy Olivia - nice
Olivia Violet - nice
Lottie Mabel - Lottie is too nicknamey, don't like Mabel

Charlotte Olivia or Molly Charlotte.

I hadn't seen Nancy - that gets my vote. I'd use Nancy Charlotte.

shoopshoopdedoo · 23/09/2024 20:22

Molly Olivia is my favourite.

I don’t really like Poppy or Violet, and only like Lottie if a middle name for Charlotte. Mabel is nice but it seems very trendy - suddenly know loads of little ones. I feel like Nancy looks nice written down but I really wouldn’t like to be called it, for some reason. So - Molly, which is lovely!

BoleynMemories13 · 24/09/2024 05:31

Charlotte nn Lottie is nice, but Lottie on it's own it too infantile.

Olivia may be popular but it's popular for a reason. It works so well across all ages.

Molly and Poppy seems quite twee to me. Cute on a little girl, but not something I'd want to be called as an adult.

sel2223 · 24/09/2024 14:30

Nancy Violet is lovely - better than the others in your original list!

Olivia Violet - don't like the V in both names
Molly Olivia/Poppy Olivia - don't like the 'o' sound in both names
Lottie - better as a nn than full name
Mabel - I'm just not a fan of sorry

lavenderjump · 24/09/2024 15:31

Lottie Mabel or Nancy Violet. The others are so overused

NannyR · 24/09/2024 15:42

Olivia Violet is my favourite, followed by Lottie Mabel, but I would go with Charlotte, to be known as Lottie.
Molly and Poppy both sound quite cutesy and young - perfect for a young child (or a puppy) not so much a middle aged barrister.

user1492757084 · 24/09/2024 15:43

Molly Olivia reminds me of Bolivia.

Poppy Olivia is popular.

Olivia Violet is the best of the four - though Violet is not a fave.

Lottie Mabel seems too casual.

Others ..
Charlotte Olivia
Lottie Olivia

StressedQueen · 24/09/2024 18:58

Molly Olivia - Not a fan of the two together or of the name Molly really
Poppy Olivia - I think it is lovely
Olivia Violet - Pretty nice too but I don't like Violet a lot
Lottie Mabel - Not for me
Nancy Violet - I really dislike Nancy

I think I like Poppy Olivia the best

Beth216 · 24/09/2024 19:01

Hate Nancy, love all the rest.

AutumnColours9 · 24/09/2024 22:44

Olivia Violet

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 25/09/2024 00:19

Olivia Violet is nice. The others (Poppy, Nancy, Lottie) are too cutesy for me. Molly Olivia would be my second choice - I don’t find it as elegant or pretty as Olivia Violet but at least it’s a more “classic” sounding nickname type name (ie. one I can easily imagine suiting an adult as well as a young girl).
