never heard of it but don't like, sorry

lonestar · 20/04/2008 08:58

makingdo, it will be shortened to that most likely.

Don't like it, really don't like that it may end up being Cash for short.

Cashel is a place name not a person's name (imo)

Mills & Boon publish soppy romantic novels

lonestar · 20/04/2008 09:21

oooh, i really like tadhg. sounds like tiger without the 'er'? great name, thank you. convincing dh is the hard part.

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 20/04/2008 09:21

fionn is lovely too and can be pn just finn

what about flynn?

dizzydixies · 20/04/2008 09:22

I was always told it was pn more like tag as opposed to tig

there is an irish babyname web site that speak them to you

will try to find it

Youcannotbeserious · 20/04/2008 09:23

Yes, Cashel is a place - quite a nice castle there as I remember it.

It's likely to be shortened to Cash, but that's quite American, isn't it?

I think as long as it goes with your SUrname, then it sounds fine... I like it, TBH....
