I like Caleb and Arthur, but not the others. Arthur's a bit too popular and I don't like Art.

I like all of your girls names, especially Margot and Violet. From your boys names, I love Arthur and quite like Caleb.

I love all your girl names especially Maeva, I know only one and she is glamorous and ludicrously intelligent and lovely so it’s given the name a good association.

Love all the boys names apart from Arthur. Never liked how its sounds and its way too common just now. My fave is probably Sawyer.
Girls names, can’t stand Margot, ugly name and also just too inexplicably common just now. Particularly when all your other ones are gorgeous.

I love Arthur, if you don’t mind its popularity. Elijah, Caleb and Asher are all nice options if you want something a little less overused.

I like Maeva and Margot a lot from your girls list. Cora and Violet are nice too.

Sawyer just makes me think of the book Tom Sawyer. I like Arthur and Elijah from your boy's names. I like all the girls ones but I think Noelle works best for a Christmas baby.

My thoughts,

Boys:
Elijah - good, my favourite of your boy choices. There's a few around, usually known as Eli, but not super popular where I am.

Sawyer - To me, only works in USA or maybe Australia, or if you live in some trendy London circles.

Arthur - Bit boring and popular

Caleb - very old biblical name, it's alright

Asher - Quite nice

Girls:
Maeva - Quite like this, it seems very popular on Mumsnet, not sure about the real world though.

Margot - Lovely but lots of Mumsnetters seem to have a problem with it being trendy or something.

Cora - I think of this as an Irish name, it's lovely

Noelle - beautiful, my favourite

Violet - horrible, sounds like a school bully. Sorry.

I'm not a fan of Sawyer or Asher, nor of Noelle, Cora or Maeva. Surely Maeve is the usual version?
The others are all nice enough.

Elijah means Yahweh is my god in Hebrew - fine if that's your God
Sawyer - I see no merit in this name, just an echo of the job of being a person who saws timber
Arthur - reasonably ok, popular, a bit dull
Caleb - another Hebrew name, means dog in some way
Asher - never heard of this name but discover it's also Hebrew.

So at this point I'm guessing your religion might be Judaism?

But then the girl names
Maeva is certainly out there and she'll never meet another. A lifetime of correcting spellings.
Margot - I like it because of Margot Fonteyn.
Cora - I couldn't imagine a pretty girl with this name.
Noelle - just, no.
Violet - good but over popular.

I love Caleb and Cora.

Asher is fabulous but I don't like any other names you've listed, especially Margot which looks like Maggot.
