I like Isabel, though don’t think it needs the fussy French spelling (unless you are French, obvs) - it is very overdone though

I am not a big fan of Dahlia, the long a sort of reminds me of Americans saying parsta for pasta <random>

How about Ianthe or Ismene?

Dahlia has pronunciation issues (and, to be honest, I'm not keen on either).

Isabelle is statistically a lot more popular but there's a reason for that. There are no guarantees she'll be one of many, despite what some on here will have you believe, as popularity differs in different areas. I only know a couple of Isabelles (and I've been working in education for 15+ years, so knowa lot of children!) Personally I prefer the spelling Isobel, as it's less frilly, but obviously it's up to you.

Oh... Both very pretty names, I've always liked both of them.
Isabella is interesting because she'll either get Izzy or Bella or Belle, for short.
Dahlia I like very much, also, I don't think they can do too much to shorten it except possibly Dolly or Lia .
You always have to think of the nicknames, because people will always apply them.
