Does it clash with our surname?

We have chosen a name we truly love, but I’m worried it doesn’t go with our surname.

Surname uncommon so don’t want to give it as it will be outing, but it’s along the lines of

Eva Carver, Eleanor Warner, Eden Wilson.

Essentially, the sound at the end of the first name and surname are exactly the same with just different prefixes.

It will be fine.

Crowsandcorvids · 31/08/2024 08:39

All those examples are fine.

Is this name ok? I can't tell you either the first or second name so just guess 😂

rainbowstardrops · 31/08/2024 09:16

It's a bit tricky without knowing the names but the examples you gave seem fine to me

Raininginparadise2 · 31/08/2024 09:32

If it is very similar to the examples then it will be OK.

Neville Neville and Edward Woodward didn't do too badly.

Without knowing the names, we can't say, but I know someone with a name like Colin Bevin and it does sound a bit singsongy.

It might not be optimal but it’s fine
