Probably outing but I know of a Mira Opal, Jessamyn Pearl and Caspar Josef. Absolutely gorgeous.

I also know flower siblings (Rose, Poppy and Lily) which I think is cute.

Which have been your favourite you’ve heard?

Also low key love it when people have the same initials, even though I wouldn’t do it myself. Known a Betty and Billy with same surname with a B.

I don't really understand the thing about sibling sets of names - for the vast majority of their lives they are going to live entirely independently, not as part of their original family and certainly not as part of sibling set. Sure Balthazar and Tracy might sound a bit strange together, but aside from any extremes I'm not sure why it matters.

ChelseaHorrobin · 27/08/2024 10:56

@Gardendiary , some combinations seem strange (e.g. Cressida and Kaci-Rae) or are a bit silly (Thomasina and Jeremiah).

ScruffMuffin · 27/08/2024 13:51

Evan and Joel
Charlotte and Alfred (Lottie and Alfie)
Katy, Naomi, Tom and Evan
Jennifer and Louisa
Phoebe and Lyra

Mira is a shower brand, Opal Fruits, Jessamyn - bad spelling of Jessamine, Caspar Josef - looks like one or the other is misspelt.
Rose, Poppy and Lily - nice names (What, no Hyacinth?)

Harri899 · 07/09/2024 20:44

Eden and Xavi(er) - girl then boy obvs

Yerto · 07/09/2024 21:49

Autumn and Ivy

VioletIsabella · 08/09/2024 16:03

Matthew, Mark, Luke and Rebecca always made me smile.

Anisty · 08/09/2024 16:33

Saffron, Tristessa, Tiffany and Scarlett. Not names i would choose myself but these were 4 lovely girls in a lovely family and the names just worked.

They all four had plainer middle names so they could use those when they grew up. I think it was Tristessa Jane.

smashburgers · 08/09/2024 16:49

Mira is awful is it an alt of Myra which is forever associated with Hindley?

The two spellings in Caspar and Josef seem at odds with each other.

And Jessamine surely?

Some of the others are equally bad though - Zelda (from terrahawks) 🤦🏼‍♀️

ASuitableName · 08/09/2024 16:59

Tristessa! Why would anyone call their daughter Sadness?

Tristessa?

Is that a bit of a burden for a little lass? 😢

Anisty · 08/09/2024 17:17

It was just her name @BumpyaDaisyevna - she was actually ages with me so we didn't think anything of it. We didn't know, when we were young kids, the French meaning of tristesse at all. It does seem a sad choice once the meaning is known, but i thought it was just the prettiest name.

As a teen, she was known as 'Tris' and all the girls were pretty cool girls.

gardenmusic · 08/09/2024 17:32

Just be careful, as we are when we ask after Sam and Ella
