I'm going round and round in circles with girls names. I guess when he/she arrives I'll know what to call her but in the meantime our list consists of....

Our surname is one symbol beginning with a Gr sound, nothing seems to flow nicely which is very annoying (but obviously nothing I can do about the surname unfortunately).

Alice, Anna or Anya for me.
I like them all except Arabella though.

In case your surname is Green, I wouldn’t use Anna in that case. (“Anna Green” = Anne of Green Gables.)

Not keen on Sadie as too close to the word sadism but like Arabella, Anya and Sophia.

Alice - it’s a bit overdone, Alicia?
Sadie - meh
Anna - very classic but Annalise or Annabel might be better with a single syllable surname
Arabella - I like it
Sophia - lovely but way overdone - Serena, Susannah, Sabrina, Selina..?
Anya - Anna is nicer

Yes our surname is Gre*n, iv googled Anne of Green gables as I'd never heard of it, is it a bad association?

I don’t think it’s a bad association, but I’d think it would be a strong association for lots of people. Anna Green would definitely make me think “Anna Green Gables”. So I’d pick one of your other choices because they are all nice.

I like Sadie best out of those.

Anna. Strong, easy to spell, not super popular.

Not necessarily bad, a lot of people absolutely love the Anne of Green Gables books (I think they're fine but not my favourites).
