I think I'm going to go uber poncy for unborn baby's middle name. What is the PONCIEST name you can think of?

we gave ds poncified middle name -Rufus-which I love but didn't dare use as a first name.
Also I have found Hackney to be full of very poncey fantastic names. I dont think Zoltan would be at all out of place.

Wasn't Zoltan the name of that future-predicting machine in the movie Big? Or was Zoltar...

Also Zoltan reminds me of Soltan, the suntan cream. Now there's a thought... get sponsorship by naming your child after a product!

littlebella, how do pronounce sheherezade?

MaryBS · 20/04/2008 09:54

sheh hair eh zard

(with sheh and eh to rhyme with "e" the phonetic e that is taught to young children, rather than eee)

Emphasis on hair and zard

hifi · 20/04/2008 10:52

There may be a few Zoltans around Birmingham - Zoltan Gera plays for West Bromwich Albion.
