I think I'm going to go uber poncy for unborn baby's middle name. What is the PONCIEST name you can think of?

ds's middle name is Bruno

is that bad enough?

PengTheMerciless · 16/04/2008 11:50

I went to school with a Nimrod.

I met a toddler called Thelonius the other day - quite high ponce factor I thought. And (forgive me) made extra special by the family's thick Lancashire accents.

SSSandy2 · 16/04/2008 11:51

I thought marina was doing well with Wilgefortis but Thelonius isn't bad either.

Zoltan (boy) and Ildiko (girl) are Hungarian names.

DS's middle name is Vlad. We had another baby's middle name Alaric.

purpleflower · 16/04/2008 11:56

Zoltan is a Hungarian name.

belgo · 16/04/2008 11:56

I know an August (boy). Actually a nice name if you forget it's a month.

CristinaTheAstonishing · 16/04/2008 11:56

I like Cazimir too, but don't fancy the diminutive Cazi.

belgo · 16/04/2008 11:57

oh and Dh wanted Pixie for a girl.

purpleflower · 16/04/2008 11:58

Actually I am really liking Zoltan for this DC middle name (DP is Hungarian, DS already has a very Hungarian middle name) If DP doesn't hurry up and chose I might have a something zoltan

I saw a fabulous one in a bereavement notice yesterday - Arethusa.

Her father (who had died) was a poet though!

MissusH · 16/04/2008 12:01

Ptolemy...

hasn't Cate Blanchett called her new ds Ignatious (sp?) to go with brothers Dashiell & Romeo?

GrapefruitMoon · 16/04/2008 12:02

I know an Ignatius in RL!

Jenkeywoo · 16/04/2008 12:06

In our family history we have 'Pendarves' and 'Coryndon' as middle names - we quite fancied called a boy Henry Coryndon but then we had another girl..
