DH and I are due our second baby (sex unknown atm) at the end of the year and we cannot decide on any names.

Names we both can agree on, but still not 100% are:

Willow
Grace
Willow
Ada
Imogen
Margot
Olive
India

Would love to hear some suggestions for boys, but also any suggestions for girls as well as maybe there’s one we’ll both fall in love with!

Thank you.

I love Imogen, Grace, India, and Margot from your list! Maybe you’d also like Naomi, Ines, Isla, Gaia?

For boys - Seif, Senan, Jude, Felix..? Are there any boys names you like or even a certain ‘type’ of name?

Honestly, we don’t agree on any 😂. We had 2 for our first - Ellis or Elliott - and that was all.

I love Felix, Noah. DH loves Dominic. We both love Luca but our best friend’s baby is Luca and too close to my BIL’s name.

Ellis is our first, Luca we both love but best friend’s new baby is Luca. I love Noah but it’s been vetoed before I could say the full name!

Thanks all! Will report all suggestions back to DH.

There’s quite a few I like, so hoping he also agrees!

I see you have typed Willow twice. I would go with that. I’m thinking your subconscious is telling you something.

KirstenBlest · 12/08/2024 21:24

The duplication of Willow made me think the same.

I only like Willow and Imogen from your list. Martha goes well with Ellis and is nicer than Margot.

AugustAlready · 12/08/2024 21:33

Out of your list I like Imogen best, but she'd be immy on day 2, if not one 😂

personally I don't like trees/countries, but not my baby!

a toddler zi know has made Margot lovely to me, but before her I wouldn't have been keen.

there are SO many option you have to find one you both love!!

nathan/nate??

BatsInSpring · 12/08/2024 21:43

I agree that Willow could be the one, as you typed it twice. It's a Unisex name also. The only Willow I know is a boy and I think it's a fab name.

It is unisex but the figures show it as about 2067 girls registered and 4 boys in one year.

William/ Will
Jonah or Jonas
Joel
Bertram (Bertie)
Sebastian
Raphael

chattyness · 13/08/2024 11:27

I like Grace, would prefer Olivia to Olive, actually Olivia Grace sounds lovely I think.

KirstenBlest · 13/08/2024 11:42

What @chattyness said. You could always shorten Olivia to Olive, but Olivia is much nicer. Olivia Grace is lovely but there are probably thousands of them.

Firsttimetrier · 13/08/2024 20:08

Thanks everyone!

Even with all these great suggestions, we still are struggling to agree on a boys name.

We have the 20 week scan next week, so let’s hope it’s a girl as we agree on several girls names!
