Just found out we are expecting a baby boy!! 🩵 We have a DD already called Romy.

Just looking for some inspiration and suggestions .. this is the list we have so far:

Mac/Mack

A great, solid name. It's timeless and goes beautifully with Romy.

Miles.

Mack is very very cool - it would certainly be the one many of the young boys I know would pick. I do feel like it should be short for something (maybe Macsen or Cormac?) but that’s just personal taste - and you already have pretty Romy which some see as a nickname- type name too, so I suppose they already fit style-wise as they are.

Boris Johnson’s two youngest are Romy and Frank so I don’t think I could go with Frank lol. I like Mack and Miles.

With Romy, I prefer Mack.

Congratulations! I love Romy. My fave of the boy names you listed is Miles, but I also really like the idea a PP posted of Cormac with Mac for short. I think Mac(k) alone seems too informal to me, but that may be from hearing it so much in Scotland as a shortening of surnames starting with Mac-. Also want to suggest Mason, which in my head kind of goes along with the Miles vibe.

I like Frank best. But I think Miles pairs better with Romy.
So my favourites in order would be

I do love Frank but bear in mind that if you have a Romy and a Frank you will have two out of three of Boris and Carrie Johnson's kids' names. Might not matter to you. Do you fancy calling a third Wilfred?

Argh I didn't know his youngest was Frank! I used Romy first so definitely didn't copy him haha. 🙈

Boris Johnson has a football team of kids, it would be difficult to choose one he hasn’t used already! I wouldn’t over think it tbh.

No one will know who B Johnson is once they are in primary school, let alone what a couple of his kids are called.

I really like Miles, Frank and Mac- all names on my list too (although Mac is short for Macsen).
