Both work with the surname. Middle name will be Philippa or Pippa (family name).

I think Merryn sounds prettier and more feminine.

Moreteaandchocolate · 01/08/2024 22:05

Merryn is lovely - unusual but pretty - I love it!
Morven makes me think of Morethan insurance!

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 01/08/2024 22:19

Merryn is one of my favourite names ever.
Morven, not so much.

BoleynMemories13 · 02/08/2024 09:49

Merryn is much prettier.

KirstenBlest · 02/08/2024 10:01

Is the choice Merryn or Morven? I don't like Merryn. Morven is OK.

wandawaves · 02/08/2024 10:02

I really don't like Morven.

GoldenLegend · 02/08/2024 16:33

Neither. Merryn is a male saint’s name anyway.

KirstenBlest · 02/08/2024 17:08

Philippa is nicer than Morven or Merryn.

User6761 · 02/08/2024 18:17

Two of my favourite names! I seem to like M names - also like Mairi.

summerdazey · 02/08/2024 18:28

Marion?

SkaneTos · 02/08/2024 19:11

They are both pretty names!
I voted for Morven.

If you don't mind me asking, where are the names from? I have never heard them before, but I'm not from the UK.

KirstenBlest · 02/08/2024 19:49

Merryn is a male Cornish saint and Morven is Scottish @SkaneTos

SkaneTos · 02/08/2024 19:54

@KirstenBlest
Thank You!

I prefer Merryn Philippa.

FloofPaws · 03/08/2024 14:15
