Give me names similar to Arlo, Atlas, Koda

What I love so much about these names:

  • not used too often (at least where I live)
  • very easy to pronounce internationally
  • good meanings (nature or friendship related)

However, I can't use them: Arlo and Atlas are both very similar to the name of my first kid and Koda doesn't work in my native language.

I already tried to get chatgpt to give me similar names but it didn't understand the assignment and came up with stuff like Luca and Finn. Great names but not exactly the same level of uniqueness haha.

Anyone? :-)

Arlo is very popular @ThePeachBear .
What languages does the name need to work in?

Does it need to be pronounced similarly in different languages?

To get a unique name (one of a kind) you'd basically have to make one up (which I wouldn't advise). I assume you're simply looking for 'unusual'. Arlo is incredibly popular right now in England., far far from unique (and far more popular than Finn, one of your examples of 'not unique'). Where in the world are you?

Names which I feel have a similar vibe to those you've listed:-

August
Hugo
Milo
Koa
Kobe
Kai
Atticus
Jago

Without knowing where you are though, it's hard to know how popular they're be around you.

I really like Cosmo, I could never get away with using it for what will be a fair, blue-eyed English child so please consider it!

I had a friend growing up called Cosmo. Always liked that name and never met another

Are you in England/Wales Because Arlo is the 18th most popular name here, and considerably more popular than Finn.

Does it need to actually be uncommon or just feel uncommon you?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! As some of you guessed I'm not from the UK. Had no idea Arlo is actually a common name overseas! Moving around Scandinavia mostly and needs to work for Dutch, English and Swedish as well...

If you need a pan-European name then look at the ones which have an equivalent in all languages, such as Nicholas, George, William, Edward.

Those names are lovely classics, but if her preferred vibe is along the lines of Atlas and Koda they’re pretty much the opposite of her brief.
