Which spelling?

Posy, Posey or Posie? Its not our favourite, just one on the list. Curious as to how it is best spelt.

I love this name. I think Posie is the nicest spelling.

Posy. It makes me think (in a good way) of Ballet Shoes, and it’s spelled Posy there.

Posy. The others look made up/typos.

That said, I do think it's best as a nickname for something more substantial/less cutesy, like Josephine. Not sure many grown adults would appreciate being called 'Posy' on their birth certificate.

Posy, as in the book Ballet Shoes. But like a PP said, to me it's more of a nickname for a young girl, and less suitable as a formal name for an adult. How about Paloma, Persephone or Petronella as your baby's given name, Posy for short?

I would go Posie. Though I agree with pp that it is a better nickname for Josephine, Primrose, Roisin, Rosemary, Rosalind, Cosette, etc

Very pretty. Was high up my baby girl name list. The accent where I live absolutely butchers it though.

There are two options..

Posy - flowers
Poesy - poetry

As a nick name you could use anything, including Posie.
Posey makes me think of a poser in a photo.
