Help us with our list DC2

[Northtosouth]

pregnant with DC2 and all the names on the list from the first time around I really don’t like anymore. Please help me add to the very small selection below

So far on the new list :
Jasper - I don’t know if this is a bit posh

Orla - we have no Irish connection so I think it’s weird but DH disagrees
Sienna - we both like this but don’t know if it’s quite popular?

Jasper isn’t overly posh to me - it’s got much more commonly used so has lost that association to me (I like it).
Orla is nice and I don’t think you need an Irish connection to use it (it does sound better with a rhetoric accent though!)
Sienna is nice and not overused near us - my kids are in 3 different schools and I only know one.

Orla and Sienna are hugely popular. I feel like Sienna is quite faddy. Was massively popular about ten years ago. I know loads of Orlas.

Both always paired with the done to death Rose/May/Grace.

I love Jasper, it’s quite popular so not posh at all.

I like Jasper. I don’t think it has any particular association with poshness (or anything else).

Orla and Sienna are also both lovely. I know what you mean about not having an Irish association with Orla but I know one who has no Irish connection and it’s never seemed odd. Only thing I would worry about with Sienna is that it could date badly as it is quite popular, but in reality most people have names that slightly suggest their age (me included) and never face any problems for it!

(Are you a "West Wing" fan? Leo and Toby are both major characters in the tv series "West Wing", and Leo was played by actor John Spencer.)
