Just wanted to get some opinions on the below names.
We would like a pretty girls name (very subjective I know) that's not too fussy. Also would like a name that people have heard of, know how to pronounce and can spell. We have a surname that's unusual and we constantly have to correct how people pronounce it as it's quite similar to a common surname and also spell it out so we want to avoid that in the first name.
Popularity doesn't matter to me, I'd happily pick a name in the top 10 if it was one I loved.
Please share your opinions and also any other suggestions.

Lily
Ruby
Laurel
Isla
Rose
Amber
Alba
Romy
Erin
Sadie
April
Maeve
Maisie
Mabel
Sienna
Lottie

I don’t suppose my opinion really matters. You obviously like all of them. Although they’re not all to my personal taste none of them are awful or will bring a child any issues. I wouldn’t say Isla was easy to pronounce though. I get it’s a done deal that most people know that the S is silent but perhaps not everyone will.

You may also like…Poppy. Daisy. Molly. Lydia. Sophia. Hannah. Grace. Olivia. Amelia. Isabella. Summer. Florence. Skye. Pearl. Nancy. Sarah. Lucy. Violet. Scarlett. Martha. Eleanor. Clara.

Thank you, I really value everyone's opinion.
I hadn't thought about the spelling with Isla as it's such a well known name but agree with what you've said and it's not easy for young children who are learning to spell their name and their friends names.
Some lovely suggestions, thank you

My husband also likes the name Violet.
What nicknames could you have for it?

I love the name Violet, one of my current favourites. I don’t think its a name that would be automatically shortened by others but maybe Vi, Vivi, Lettie, Ettie if you / she liked?
