I'm due another little girl in October and I'm struggling to find a name that goes well with my daughter's name Isabella! Any suggestions will be really appreciated🙈

Pick a name you like. They don't have to match. They're both individuals.

Sisters usually have names with a similar sort of vibe, so something fairly popular and with 3 or 4 syllable would probably go.

Something like Isabella and Olivia/Sophia, not Isabella and Grace/Tess.

I'd avoid picking another El- or -ella name.

How about Felicity or Verity.

Amelia
Jessica
Alexandra
Florence
Penelope
Vivienne

I’d go for something that is similar in terms of syllables (so maybe 3/4), can also have a couple of options to shorten, but doesn’t have the same ending (I’d avoid anything ending in ‘a’).

So something like Natalie, Felicity, Beatrice or Penelope.

Olivia and Sophia first came to mind as above, they flow nicely whilst being individual.

Amelie, Amelia or Felicity

Sophie is nice too.

Try putting Isabella in a baby name generator and see what comes up

Scarftown · 29/05/2024 13:16

We have a Felicity. I'm due in October and we are thinking Isabella for a girl.

Depends on your surname, middle name if you already have one.

Isabella and Kate
Isabella and Ruby
Isabella and Grace
Isabella and Frances
Isabella and Charlotte
Isabella and Juliet
Isabella and Genevieve
Isabella and Lucille

For me nothing starting with a vowel, and nothing ending with an A sound.

Surname will be Hamnett. Haven't thought of a middle name yet

ok, so given your surname I'd probably take off the list things like Harriet and Juliet! Even Charlotte Hamnett is a bit of a mouthful.
