Does it give any specific impressions? I would appreciate your opinions.

It’s not to my taste. And neither are the nicknames I searched for on google…

Morgie?!

Absurdgiraffe · 22/05/2024 19:39

Just reminds me of the female Morgan I know.

I have never met a male one.

Stopmotion24 · 22/05/2024 19:40

I think it’s fine, I have only ever known one girl and one boy called Morgan in real life, on both ocasion I thought it was an unusual name but didn’t make more of it

caringcarer · 22/05/2024 19:45

I used Morgana then she could use either Morgana or Morgan if she preferred.

DemBonesDemBones · 22/05/2024 19:47

Lower class. Sorry. Blush

hattylou · 22/05/2024 19:50

surname or boys name.
Really rather tacky on girls.

Purplecatshopaholic · 22/05/2024 19:51

I know two girls - both early/mid twenties. One is known as Morgie. I like it as a girls name.

TinaYouFatLard · 22/05/2024 19:52

Iron Man’s daughter.

Morgan makes me think of the 90s clothing brand, all tight black sparkly going out dresses. Bit of a chavvy name either boy or girl.

Same 😆 oh I was skinny back then!!

Lila878 · 22/05/2024 19:56

I like it on a girl :)

NetZeroZealot · 22/05/2024 19:58
  1. Welsh tart
  2. Cheap girls' clothes (there used to be a chain)
JimNast · 22/05/2024 19:59

@NetZeroZealot , I've never heard of it, do you have the recipe?

Emotionalsupporthamster · 22/05/2024 20:00

Bit 90s. I much prefer Morven.

Lovecat · 22/05/2024 20:01

Morgan Fairchild (played Chandler's mother in Friends).

So I think glamorous midde-aged American with a teased out blow-dry.

Sprinkles211 · 22/05/2024 20:07

My brothers called Morgan never met another one he's 30 now

ISeriouslyDoubtIt · 22/05/2024 20:11

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 22/05/2024 18:31

Not if you're in Wales and naming a boy. Don't be a snob.

It's still a lower class name here in Wales. To me it's a naughty boy's name.

Sunnnybunny72 · 22/05/2024 20:16

Chavvy. Sorry.

6448fin · 22/05/2024 20:17

I have a daughter called Morgan, trying not to take too much offence to the comments!

She really suits her name, is a gorgeous friendly girl and her friends all call her Morgy or Morgs. She’s 11.

Littlemissnikib · 22/05/2024 20:24

My best friend’s daughter is called Morgan (now in her 20s). I think it’s a lovely name - and she’s such a lovely girl!

mintich · 22/05/2024 20:26

Reminds me of the good girl from Laguna Beach!

Jakethekid · 22/05/2024 20:28

Morgan makes me think of am american mean girl thats popular and bitchy. Sorry if that offended anyone

Xyz1234567 · 22/05/2024 20:31

It brings to mind Celts/Wales/King Arthur and I've always thought of it as a male or female name. I like it, no idea why it's chavvy - but I live in Scotland, so super rare although I know one and he's lovely!

Upallnight2 · 22/05/2024 20:49

I like it!
