Which name combination?

Narrowed my lists down...
Currently live in UK but planning a move to Spain or Canary Islands.
Sibling has a top 5 boys name.
Which do you prefer and why?

Boys: Hugo Jacob or Jacob Rosco
Girls: Sofia Madison, Sofia Eloise or Lucia Summer

Love Madison as it's linked to Matilda (similar meanings), a name I was going to use if my son had been a girl. Now can't use. Eloise reminds me a lovely baby I looked after. Then I just love Lucia Summer together as Summer is a favourite name but don't think it's sturdy enough for a first name.

Although I prefer names that cannot be shortened, as a guilty pleasure do love Esmeralda shortened to Esme but not sure Mumsnet will be in favour!

Be aware that J is pronounced as 'y' in most Latin countries so Jacob will sound like 'Yaccob' when said locally in your future home area.

Lucia Summer is lovely and I adore the name Hugo!

Hugo will be Oo-go in Spain, Jacob will be Hack-ob, Lucia will be Looth-ee-a.

Lovely names! I love Jacob Rosco and Sofia Eloise. I also really like Sofia Madison and Lucia Summer. I’m less keen on Hugo, personally.

(I also love Esme but not keen on Esmerelda, sorry!)

Hugo Jacob

Sofia Eloise

@WhatThenEh unfortunately I don't like Matt. And there's some Matthew's in the family so wouldn't really work. But thank you.

@Moreteaandchocolate Thank you. I think Jacob Rosco and Sofia Eloise are the top names at the moment. With Lucia Summer in reserve.

@DuchessOfSausage Lucia is actually pronounced loo-see-ah in Spain. In Italy they use the chee-ah pronunciation.

I'm aware Jacob may be pronounced differently. But it's a name I've loved for absolute years and I think I would regret not using it. Didn't use for my first son as got talked out of it. So definitely need to use this time around.

J is pronounced like H in Spanish so he'd be Hacob.
