Baby boy names with long I sound or ending in ie/y

So I feel like I have exhausted every list, Instagram page and thread and I am still struggling to find the right* *name for baby boy.

Our surname is an awkward one, so a lot of names don’t sound right with it. Having said names out loud I think the names that seem to flow best end in an ie/y/ey such as Freddie or they have a long I sound in them such as Milo.

There are a few that I don’t mind but none that I love, so if anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it! The name we had planned to use before falling pregnant was Tommy, but for some reason went off it and now it doesn’t feel right.

Toby?

I like Toby, but I know quite a few so I don’t know if it just feels a bit overused. Although the majority of the ones I know are 25 years old plus!

Remy

I really like Remy and I feel like it is less popular which I like, but someone mentioned to me that it sounds like Rimming 😩 I personally don’t hear it but now I worry that I’m missing something that everyone else hears!
