Not helpful I know but Clara and Eloise.

Moreteaandchocolate · 16/05/2024 16:52

I also like Clara and Eloise :)

Clara and Aurora

doonaduvet · 16/05/2024 16:54

I always wanted an Aurora, I think Eloise goes with it better as both 3 syllables. Nicknames could be Rory and Ellie so rhyme.

MalibuBarbieDreamHouse · 16/05/2024 16:54

I don’t love how they both end in “ra” with the first, Eloise and Clara are lovely together.

Another vote for Clara and Eloise

Something to think about, but I really struggle to pronounce Aurora. Two Rs in one word are impossible for me (think Jonathan Ross, though not quite) I don't think I'm all that unusual and it'll definitely be difficult for small children to say. It's a lovely name so I'm just putting it out there!
I'd go for Clara and Eloise..

(I cant say Rory either!)

OmuraWhale · 16/05/2024 16:59

I also think Clara and Eloise!

Diddleyeyeeye · 16/05/2024 17:00

Clara and Eloise, Eloise is my favourite of your names, very pretty.

Clara and Aurora.

VivaVivaa · 16/05/2024 18:15

Does it have to be Aurora? It’s okay but I don’t love it. Meanwhile, Eloise and Clara are both gorgeous names!

Any thoughts on Mila and Aurora?

With Mila potentially being short for Amelia or Camilla? (Both family names so would be a nice nod, although wouldn’t sway us to choose one of these/Mila over, say, Eloise or Clara)

I have an Aurora (Rory) and also had Eloise on our list. They go together nicely

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 16/05/2024 22:23

They are all very pretty but all also a bit trendy- with Eloise and Clara being the least so and Mila and Aurora the most.If I had to pick two as a sibset then Aurora and Eloise I think as they sound quite good together being both 3 syllable with repeated vowels.

But If you are set on Aurora, then I’d definitely consider Selena or Selene for a sisters name instead - Aurora The Goddess of the Dawn and Selene the Goddess of the Moon are lovely meanings and work great together.

Alternatively I’d maybe look for a similarly mythological or nature based name - like Lara (rather than Clara) Maia/Maya, Gaia, Thalia, Diana, Xanthe, Cassia, Lily, Rosa, Jasmine, Willow etc to pair with Aurora.

Edited

Mila is lovely. I like it either as a standalone name, or short for Amelia (I personally don’t like Camilla).
