I don't think Rosie Dorothy flows but how often do you ever need to say the whole name? I like Lily Beatrice most if you don't mind two floral names?

AuntieStella · 16/05/2024 12:35

I'd go for Dorothy Violet

I think Lily and Rosie are too flowery with Daisy, but if you actually want flowery, then I'd go for Lily

Fontainebleau007 · 16/05/2024 12:37

I like Dorothy Violet :)

Orangesandlemonsq · 16/05/2024 12:40

Dorothy Rose

CheeriosOrFrosties · 16/05/2024 12:41

Lily Beatrice

NuffSaidSam · 16/05/2024 12:44

Beatrice is the best name there imo. I'd promote that to a first name. I also like Violet.

Not keen on Dorothy. Lily and Rosie are both nice, but awfully twee alongside Daisy.

I'd go Beatrice Lily or Beatrice Violet.

Idarosetta · 16/05/2024 12:49

Thanks @NuffSaidSam Violet has always been my all time favourite for a first name and it sounds less twee with Daisy, but my oh doesn’t like it at all 😔 Beatrice Lily is a lovely suggestion too.

Like pp says Dorothy Rose
(Dotty and Daisy is so cute)

Mangoooo · 16/05/2024 13:18

Beatrice, Rosie, Lily or Violet. I'm not keen on Dorothy.

rwa818 · 16/05/2024 13:21

Dorothy Violet or Dorothy Rose.... or actually Violet Rose

FaeryRing · 16/05/2024 13:21

Lily Violet would be my choice!

Dorothy Lily
Dorothy Violet
Rosie Dorothy
Lily Beatrice

DD 1 named Daisy

Personally I would avoid having two daughters with obviously floral first names, simply because it reminds me of Keeping Up Appearances... Hyacinth and her two sisters (Daisy and Rose) all named after flowers!

Dorothy Rosie would be my choice. It flows well, and Daisy and Dorothy go really well together.

HoHoHoliday · 16/05/2024 13:32

Dorothy Lily or Dorothy Violet, both very lovely.

Theoldwoman · 16/05/2024 13:54

Lily Beatrice

Moreteaandchocolate · 16/05/2024 13:56

I vote for Rosie Dorothy or Lily Beatrice - both are beautiful names and I don’t think it matters that the sisters both have floral names. I’m personally less keen on Dorothy and it also avoids the same first initial as Daisy.

JumpstartMondays · 16/05/2024 13:57

Lily Beatrice for sure! 🥰

poppymango · 16/05/2024 14:18

Also wanted to say maybe avoid Lily simply because there are SO many of them now!!

ladycarlotta · 16/05/2024 14:32

Dorothy Violet is lovely. Dorothy is so much less used and less 'cute' than the other options. They're nice too I just think Dorothy has something about it!

ToffeenutLatte · 16/05/2024 16:43

Dorothy Violet is lovely. Dot/Dotty is a very sweet nn.

I have a family member who has 3 girls all with very common/ popular flower names, she gets alot of comments about how twee and matchy it all is.
She has expressed recently that she wishes she'd given them more individual names instead of running with a theme. Older relatives and extended family often get them muddled aswell, which doesn't happen with other children in the family with more standalone names.
