Caspar, Louis, Pascal…

Trying to find name inspiration for second DS. DS1 is Reuben. Some ideas below, would love more suggestions!

• Caspar, my favourite, DP not keen
• Louis, too royal? We are not royalists 😅
• Ludo
• Pascal, I’ve heard this is an ‘old man’ name in France (not in a good way). We have connections to France so this may be an issue. Also maybe overthinking but it’s a name associated with Easter, this baby is not due at Easter
• Cosmo, pretty ‘out there’ but growing on me
• Jago, love that it’s a variant of James which has meaning for me, but I believe it’s Cornish and we have no Cornish connections

Caspar - I do like but makes me think of the ghost
Louis - doesn’t feel too royal to me, just French.I love this name.
Ludo - interesting, reminds me of Harry Potter. I do like this though. Can it be nickname for Louis?
Pascal - no
Cosmo - no
Jago - this seems to be having a bit of a moment. It’s nice though

I really like Louis. Casper and Jago are quite nice.
I’m personally not keen on Ludo, Pascal or Cosmo.

Another vote for Louis, by far the best. For me the others are awful, especially Ludo and Cosmo. Surely names for a celebrity child only?

I like Caspar (or what about Jasper?), Louis and Jago. I associate Pascal with the maths guy (Pascal's triangle etc). Ludo is a board game!

Love Louis, I don't think it's too royal, luke Jago too and prefer Jasper to Casper.

Ooh love these. Jude is a great suggestion, nearly went for this first time round, wondering if it’s too ‘of the moment’ but still tempted! Considering Elio but we have an Elliott in the family.
