How many Ezra’s do you know?

Interested to know how popular Ezra is, and seen as the ONS data seems like it’s never going to be updated I thought I’d turn to MN!

I know it was top 100 in the latest data (2021) but interested to know if it’s continued climbing since then. How many Ezras do you know, how old and if you’re happy to say - what area in the UK are you from?

All the Ezra's I know are elderly Jews who fled Iraq in the 1950s.

I think it's a lovely name and I would guess that the next generation will have lots of Ezra's in memory of the generation that fled.

I wonder if know the same one...!

I hadn't realised it was so specific to Iraqis. Hello from a (presumably fellow?) Iraqi Jew!

None!

DC are 4 and 2 and we've never come across an Ezra (was on our shortlist for both children so I would remember if I had met one!). But then again, we've also not come across an Oliver (we do have one in the extended family, but that is it) or an Olivia!!
