Middle name to go with Ava...

Ava is definite first name if it's a girl, and surname is a common one-syllable name (think Clark, Green, Jones type names). I wanted a middle name linked to someone on my side of the family (grandmother, for instance), but can't find one I like. The main options so far are:

Ava Charlotte
Ava Pearl
Ava Clementine (not linked to family, just like the name!)

Any thoghts? Or other suggestions?

Ava Maria, being serious I think its lovely.

Only one point to make with Eva. Issa. Ava is that its very eastern european sounding and atm UK is invaded by them (the names that is).

This thread is 13 years old.

Since Ava is almost a teenager, I expect her parents found her a middle name.

Ava Gardner
Ava Braun
Ava Brown.

Not nice associations.

From your lists, Ava Charlotte, Ava Katherine or Ava Beatrice are all lovely, and the best of your ideas. I don't think Ava Katherine is too Hollywood at all since Katharine Hepburn was spelt like this, and Katherine is a very regular traditional name.

partyatthepalace · 03/01/2021 13:20

I think Ava Katharine and Ava Grace are both really lovely - would probably go for Katharine as Grace used so often as a middle name.

Ava Elizabeth and Ava Francesca also nice. Ava Emilia?

I agree with PP about not using a noun as the middle name. I also wouldn't use Maria because Ava Maria is too similar to Ave Maria.

Ava Lucia
Ava Marianne
