Beautiful, truly classic, timeless girls names

Expecting a baby in August. We really want a name that never dates, is beautiful and classic. We can’t use Elizabeth, Clara or Isabelle. Our list so far is

We also like these names but worry they are a bit long or frilly

I think Maria is my favourite but Emily and Alice are up there. DH loves Verity and Felicity but agrees the are a little frilly.

Opinions or other ideas would be appreciated!

I don't think that any are frilly other than Annabelle and Isabelle. Annabel and Isabel are fine.

We have very similar taste! You’ve listed my two daughters names :) I also prefer shorter, simpler names to anything long and frilly. I love Alice, Anna, Emma / Emily, Eve, Georgia and Lucy.

I'm a Lucinda, but I am never Lucy, I just can't stand it for some reason, to me they are two very different names. FWIW I always get complimented on it, I go by Lu so most people just hearing my name assume I'm Louise so are surprised to find I'm Lucinda (looks strange now as I rarely write my full name😂)

Beatrice, Annabelle and Felicity are lovely- pretty but strong and also carry some gravitas - i can imagine them as news journalists, in the board room, creatives or yummy mummies
