DH top contender for DS is
Franklin - too surnamey for myself but do not want to totally discard his opinion
I asked if we could meet in the middle with Francis but known as Frank and he will not compromise at all.

Casper
Sebastian (Seb)
Zachariah (Zach)
Laurence

please suggest some names we may agree on or give your opinions to help me love Franklin more

Each make a list of 20 to 30 names, then make a short list of the same or similar names on both lists.
If you still can't agree, the woman has the final say, because she has carried the baby.

Like you, I'm not keen on Franklin, but Sebastian is one of my all time favourite names.

You could ask your DH why he thinks Frank needs a girl’s name added to it. That’s what Franklin sounds like to me.
