We are expecting another baby girl soon. Our eldest daughter is called Amelia and her nickname is Mia. Really struggling to find a name that goes well with it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Genuine question - why do they have to go well together? Your daughter is hopefully going to be carrying this name for 90 years or more. She’s probably going to live in the same house as her sister for only the first 20 or so of those. Most people she meets in her life will never meet her sister or view them as a package. Does it really matter whether they go well together?

Amelia and Annabelle sound nice together.
Could be shortened to Mia and Belle.

I have an Amelia. Her sister is called Elspeth (she goes by Elsie). There’s 16 years between them though so I’ve not had to call them out together.

Really? I genuinely feel that Amelia goes with almost any name. It's popular across all demographics and in all areas, it's contemporary but also traditional (or do I just mean timeless, not sure it can be both those things). Aside from real extremes like Amelia and Honey-Lily Sparkle Raine or Amelia and Araminta Prunella Blythe then I think you can't go too far wrong. Mia goes with most things too, imo.

The first names I think to pair with Amelia are:
Beatrice/Bea, Bethany, Charlotte/Lottie, Chloe, Daisy, Darcey, Emily, Evelyn/Evie, Florence/Flora, Georgia, Harriet/Hattie, Holly, Imogen, Isabel/Izzy, Jessica/Jessie, Julia, Katherine/Kitty, Lily, Lucy, Matilda/Tilly, Madeleine/Maddie, Olivia, Phoebe, Ruby, Rosie, Sophie, Sophia, Sienna, Thea, Willow, Zara
