I dislike names like Poppy,Erin, Lily, Isla just because I’ve looked after so many

I like Lorien the best out of your options and I think it's really pretty. Don't like Aura, though I like Aurora, and dislike Taya and Tauriel. Raven is ok, but not my favorite.

I really like Taya (if pronounced Tay-a, not like tyre) - a lovely but unusual name - simple and pretty for all ages

I also like Lorien - mostly because I love the option of Lori for short

Tauriel has a nice sound, and I like Tori for short, but I haven’t heard it before and the Taur spelling makes me think of Taurus

I’m not at all keen on Raven (a bit witchy) or Aura (as it’s a real word that I wouldn’t like to be called)

Literally love all these names! Wow - You really seemed to get an idea of the sort of stuff we like from a very small briefing!
So hard working in childcare for so long it feels like so many names are taken!

Thanks I think we’d call her Lori as a nick name which is very sweet and could be relatively more “normal” when she’s older and maybe doesn’t want to stand out too much by a name (if that’s a thing lol)

Of your choices, definitely Taya. It’s uncommon and not exactly my cup of tea but seems very useable- no obvious spelling or pronunciation issues and will fit in with the Thea’s and Maya’s at school.

Your other choices either seem like they might have spelling or pronunciation problems or obvious associations which might not suit your DD (ie. Raven - Gothic, Aura- hippy).

I do like some uncommon names btw - Xanthe, Ianthe, Gaia, Annia, Cassia, Christabel etc are names a bit similar to your choices that I really like. Although the more I think about it, the more Taya is growing on me - it sounds very pretty.
