vote on middle name

Hello, I’m planning on naming my son Julian nn Jules, but I’m really thinking myself in circles with his middle name. Figured I’d post a poll just to have a clearer picture on what other people think!

For those that can’t see the poll, the options are:

  1. Julian “Jules” Austin
  2. Julian “Jules” Michael
  3. Julian “Jules” Ellis
  4. Julian “Jules” Anthony
  5. Julian “Jules” Robin

Austin, Michael, and Robin are either family names or diminutives of them by the way.

I think my favourite is probably Jules Austin, but the thing is I’m not sure about the double “n” ending with Julian Austin. I don’t know if I mind it too much as I’d never really say his full name, and even if I was to say it just in casual speech I would most likely say Jules Austin anyways which I quite like. Same with Julian/Jules Robin.

Also for what it’s worth - I was pretty set on Julian Henry but the thing is Henry is the only other name I can imagine naming a son, and I don’t want to use it up in a middle name in case I have another.

Sorry for saying so much haha, but thank you in advance for your help!

Julian Michael is my fav. Julian was on our list too, big fan of the name :)

Thank you! Michael is one I’m really considering because it’s his fathers middle name as well :)

Julian Michael

I like Anthony usually, but the double 'an an' puts me off.

I voted for Julian Ellis as Ellis is my favourite of the names on your list, but I would personally actually probably choose Julian Michael as it honours a family member

I voted for Julian Anthony, but I think all the names on your list are good!
