Eden or Eloise

Eden - less likely to be shortened. Lovely meaning. Goes with brothers biblical names. ? Too unisex?

Eloise - more likely to be shortened. Doesn't necessarily fit with Brothers biblical names.

Thank you.

Eloise or Louisa

Ooh definitely Eden. It has got a little bit trendy but Eloise sounds too stuffy for my liking

Eden is beautiful

Eden is quite ‘trendy’. I think if you want a biblical theme you might be better to go with a name rather than a place - Eve, Esther, Leah, and the like.

Eloise is classic. You could also have Elise, Alice, or Louise.

Eloise

I think Eden has gone a bit south

There are some lovely biblical girl's names.
Martha, Mary, Esther, Susannah, Sarah, Miriam, Ruth, Abigail, Rachel, Deborah, Tamar etc

Martha has grown on me.

I've got an Eden and she does get Edie too but we don't mind. I have so many compliments on her name in RL which is lovely

KirstenBlest · 24/04/2024 18:15

It's popular but I see it as more of a nature name than a bible name.
More like Willow or Iris than Martha or Esther.

Misspotterscat · 26/04/2024 18:53

Love them both. Both were on my shortlist. We went with one of them. I say go with Eloise as I don’t want Eden to get too popular 😄
