HELP - can’t think of a name!!!

We are due a girl in September. And simply cannot find a name we “LOVE”, so I need the help of the hive mind.

We want an “ee” ending, like Bonnie or Marnie, but want something more unique/different. Not afraid of unisex names like Allie or Marley, either. Please help me brainstorm 😢

One of my friends named her baby Storie, it’s unusual and rare, haven’t heard of it before her but it’s a pretty name too.

That’s actually a “potential” for us, as it was my Nan’s name. It’s just starting to become verrry popular and I feel like that’s stopping me. Our eldest is Teddy and when we had him, the name wasn’t common near us at all. Now there’s a Teddy everywhere we go 😂 to be expected, but I can see Stevie doing the same

This is interesting, why do you say Stevie is going to become popular? It's not a name I hear mentioned often at all, and it was ranked 438 in 2021. If you love it, I'd say go for it! Or for a variation on it, what about Sylvie?

Are you going to give them a 'proper' name and use the diminutive? Harriet-hattie for example? It's nice for them to have a 'professional' name when they get older.
I love Zoe though, which doesn't need shortening or lengthening

Was thinking the same.

Eden with the nickname Edie? I know Edie is a name in itself though.

I appreciate why people do that but it’s not something we’ll do. Just personal preference really! My name is a unisex “nickname” and I’ve never had an issue, in fact I’ve quite liked it. Our eldest is Teddy, not Theodore or Edward. Just Teddy. We knew we’d always call him Teddy so we went straight for that name. I know that’s not some people's vibe and I fully respect it, it’s just not something we opt for.

What even is professional? Nobody isn’t getting hired simply because their legal name is Steph instead of Stephanie.
