Option 3 for me. Olive and rose are two colours so I’d avoid.

Hobbesmanc · 11/04/2024 13:33

Congratulations. Such a open question though it's kind of hard to help. Are there any family names you like or relatives to honour?

Do you want something that's unusual that would stand out or something popular that might date or something timeless that might feel safe

Look at current name charts for ideas maybe?

Some of the main trends are still around and new ones emerging Victorian maids names like Ruby or Ivy or Maisie. Enid Blyton Malory Towers names like Daphne and Pamela and Gwen

There's some lovely old fashioned and classical names that are underused and due a comeback. Dorothy or Dorothea, Cecelia, Cecily. Dinah, Jocelyn, Lydia, Hester.

Or nature names. Celeste. Astrid. Astor. Audrey.

@Hobbesmanc , the options are below the OP in the vote . I’d go for the 3rd one but I really dislike Olive

Hmmm I'm not sure why I can't see the vote. I'm on my tablet so maybe that's why. Apologies. Ignore me xxxxx

Georgiana Vera Rose is my favourite. Georgiana is has a lovely elegant sound. I think Theodora could be misread as Theodore, given how popular that name is at present for boys. I also think Georgiana shortens to a lovely range of options - Georgie / Georgia / Gia / Giana / Ginny.
GVR are better initials than GOR (which sounds like Gore).

Thank you lovely 😍 think this has helped make my decision. I was worried Georgiana Vera had too many a sounds

Georgiana and Theodora are both a bit ott.

Love Olive.

Are Olive, Vera and Rose family names?

Floralnomad · 11/04/2024 14:22

@Hobbesmanc I’m on an iPad , probably worth looking at your settings

KirstenBlest · 11/04/2024 15:29

I can't see the names.

Georgina is nice.
Theodora - I don't like it or Thea, and i'm bored of Theo and Theodore, so it's a straight No from me.
Rose is a filler middle name and doesn't really add anything. I'd remove it.
Olive - dreary. Olive oil.
Vera - ruined for me by Mrs Duckworth.

Oops, just realised it's Georgiana not Georgina. It's sort of Georgina ruined by a single letter.

Geebray · 11/04/2024 15:31

Theodora is becoming increasingly popular, after a few celebs had them.

If that matters to you, go for Georgina.

Middle names don't matter.

SkaneTos · 11/04/2024 16:18

They are all beautiful names and combinations.
I voted for Georgiana Vera Rose.

MalibuBarbieDreamHouse · 11/04/2024 16:33

Dislike Georgiana, feels very clunky to say.

FlyingPizzaMonkey · 11/04/2024 17:57

I think I prefer Theodora, actually I just prefer Thea. Rose is a done to death filler middle name that all girls have. Not keen on Vera or Olive, very drab. Unless they’re all family names and you’re using them for a reason.

Georgiana is quite nice.

shoopshoopdedoo · 11/04/2024 20:17

I like the Vera Rose middle name combo best, though would personally just pick one of those names unless you feel you need both as honour names.

Georgiana and Theodora are both a bit grand for my taste. I think i slightly prefer Theodora. Like Georgina better than either of them!

theduchessofspork · 12/04/2024 00:12

Georgiana Vera Rose - v nice

Far too many Theo/Thea/Theodore/Theodoras

And I can’t stand Olive (unless in a salad)

You can't remove a surname.
Georgie Rose is lovely.
