Cool boy names?

What boy names do you think give off cool, trendy vibes? Also names that would work well for all ages.

I think of Ezra.

I think Saxon is pretty dreadful and not the least bit cool. The sort of name the kid would want to change.

Coolness is down to the person, not their name, though.

I think "cool" is subjective, but I named my boys Casey and Wren, which are both feminine leaning names but I like the idea they can pull it off.

It's hilarious because my 8yo son thinks names like Bob, Steve and Dave are cool 😂 if he is making a fictional hero they are almost always Bob or Steve.

🤣Bob and Steve! Well it just goes to show you every kid is different - didn’t that little girl on the Outnumbered choose the name Karen for herself 🤷‍♀️🤣 So a similar thing there!

My 2 year old is definitely all about the O and X sound - names like Max and Leo are the ones he remembers - but that’s also probably influenced by TV/ books as I notice the kids in them are often given short, snappy, often popular names ( my own DS’s is longer and very traditional/classic 🤦‍♀️).

Without reading any other posts, ‘cool’ is Chase, Alex, Freddie, Nate

So many names mentioned in this thread baffle me as I would never say they are cool. This is so subjective!

The person makes a name cool imo, but I think Z and Q are cool initials, so names like
Zachary, Quentin are quite cool imo.

I like alternative names but I find some on your list a bit try hard or doggy - Bowie 😬 Jules I would assume was a girl? The only one I like is Asher.

I'd go for something unusual that's still a proper name like Rex, Emil, Enzo, Quinn, Ezekiel (Zeke), Tate, Callan, Torin.....

I think "cool" is very subjective because it depends on who you've met and who you consider cool.

I think classic but less overused names can be cool.
