Frank is my favourite too! Love its simplicity, as you say, and Frankie is great as an affectionate version if you like.

I also like Harris.

Franklin is ok but I prefer Frank.

I’m not so keen on Roscoe.

ChanelNo19EDT · 30/03/2024 19:17

I like Roscoe and Harris. I would pick Roscoe.

Bournetilly · 30/03/2024 19:19

Franklin

WaitingfortheTardis · 30/03/2024 19:21

I only like Frank from that list. Roscoe and Harris don't seem like proper names and Franklin is okay, but Frank is a better version.

Nicebloomers · 30/03/2024 19:29

Frank

ladygindiva · 30/03/2024 19:33

Frank or Franklin , I really like both of them.

Deardear17 · 30/03/2024 19:34

Frank

SkaneTos · 30/03/2024 20:10

They are all nice names.

waftabout · 30/03/2024 20:20

Frank is ok but I don't love it. I really dislike the others.

freakinthespreadsheets · 30/03/2024 21:01

Franklin is my #1 boy name. Gives you the option of Frank informally/if you want to. It's a great name IMO, Roscoe I don't like and Harris is meh depends totally on your surname I think.

MrsTerryPratchett · 30/03/2024 21:04

Roscoe is a dog's name.

I met a lovely Harris recently. I still think it's a place name but not the worst.

Mumofgirls2017 · 30/03/2024 22:09

Franklin

tiredandabitfat · 30/03/2024 22:19

I didn't realise Roscoe was a real name.

I have an acquaintance called Roscoe, I thought it was just a nickname for Ross.

Ikeameatballs · 30/03/2024 22:24

I like both Frank and Franklin

HanaJane · 30/03/2024 22:26

I love Harris but not keen on the others

Geebray · 30/03/2024 22:26

Surely Frank is short for Francis.

CreateYourOwnUsername · 30/03/2024 22:27

I like Harris - I thought it was a "proper" Scottish name?

DramaAlpaca · 30/03/2024 22:31

Of those four I'd pick Harris, though I'd prefer Harry or Harrison.

I strongly dislike the others.

SpicyMargaritaPlease · 30/03/2024 22:47

I like Frank and Harris. I know of a few sausage dogs called Franklin, and Roscoe makes me think pets name too.

miniaturepixieonacid · 30/03/2024 23:25

I like Harris.

Not keen on the others.

Theoldwoman · 31/03/2024 00:22

Frank

mathanxiety · 31/03/2024 05:52

I like Harris and Franklin.

Roscoe is a name I associate with enthusiastic labradors.

Whatsnormalhere · 31/03/2024 05:56

Definitely Frank or even Francis

KirstenBlest · 31/03/2024 13:48

Roscoe - sounds like a place name and makes me think of Tesco or Costco
Franklin - too american. The -lin ruins it for me
Frank - fine
Harris - Harry is better
