After umming and arrring (sp ?) for 2 plus years I’ve decided to get a little rabbit

You might not be able to tell from the pics but he has the brightest blue eyes and he’s white and very light brown and is a small ‘lionlop’ lion head bunny

what do you think he looks like

Personally I'm loving the idea of you checking into the vets with Busy Malone - but then I have the sort of vet that check animals in as their name plus owners surname!

So do I. I thought it was just me being pathetic.

I got the same feeling last week when my cat was lying on the vets table with a mystery illness being very dramatic (its OK, it was nothing serious in the end) and the vet said ‘I think we’d better have Mum at the head end’.

I know I’m not his mum, but Yeah, I really love that cat.

Your gorgeous bunny looks like a pebbles but how can you not go with Bugsy under the circumstances?

OooScotland - thank you for your kind reply! And I love it when the vet says ‘mum’ about my pup when at the vets! It confirms to me that even the vets know that they’re not just our ‘pets’ but like our children!! (In fact my pup is better behaved than my own children 🤣☺️)

ps- your cat sounds awesome and I bet he’s one lucky little cat 🐱

My DH swore we always had to have human names so he didn't get embarrassed at vet.

We got a Cookie already named. He LOVES his little Cookie.

I'd honestly pick pebbles. His eyes look like such cute pebbles.

Bugsy is perfect with your surname

Pebbles would be good because he is the colours of a beach pebble.

I'll freely admit I clicked on this thread hoping you were asking for opinions on a name for a baby. Now I know you aren't, I'd say Bugsy. Works with Malone, works with Bunny.

Rabbits should be kept in pairs, so please adopt two (and get both neutered. 80% of unneutered females get womb cancer).

im surprised youve been allowed to adopt a rabbit at Easter. Lots of rescues near me wont allow it because it is the equivalent of people getting puppies at christmas.
