Noah and ?

Already have a boy called Noah.
Struggling to find a name for his Sister due imminently.....

Noah and Athena - current favourite, but will it be shortened? Does this work in UK? It's a strong, greek name. Is it too much to put on a child?

Noah and Sofia - although popular I feel out of all the names it's the one most likely to be able to buy things with her name on like Noah. Also feel it's slightly exotic and used in Spain/Greece etc.

Noah and Robyn - always loved Robyn and think there is so much meaning behind the bird itself. Worry is it's not girly enough?

Noah and Lucia - Lucia gives me really exotic vibes, sand, sunshine, ocean etc. could be pronunciation issues though? Would pronounce Loo-see-a.

Thank you.

Did you choose Noah because it’s a biblical name? It would make sense to choose a biblical name to match.

@Whippetlovely I love biblical boys names and had chosen another biblical boys name of this one has been another boy. But dislike all biblical girls names, there are none I would use. Most are really long and likely to be shortened too.

I like Noah and Athena best. Lucia is lovely too but I would pronounce it Loo-shee-a unless you told me otherwise.

I love Sofia, and it sounds perfect with Noah, as long as you don’t mind its popularity.

Lucia would be my second choice - much less commonly used and just as beautiful as Sofia (some possible pronunciation issues but I think Loo-see-a is the most common pronunciation)

Athena is nice, much more unusual, but a bit less to my taste than the others.

Robyn I don’t think goes well with Noah somehow.

Other ideas -

Thalia
Cleo
Seren
Lia
Maya
Aria

Athena is great. Noah & Athena - nice
It's used by royal Danish family btw. The Danish King's niece is called Athena.

My favourites from your list are Sofia and Lucia - although I would say Lucia might get annoying with correcting people’s pronunciation.

Emilia, Mila, Hallie, Clara, Felicity or Alicia would also sound lovely with Noah. Love the suggestions Ceciley, Ettie and Violet from PP.

Sofia is of course a lovely name but just not as exciting/different as Lucia, so I would opt for that. I wouldn't imagine too many pronunciation issues. It also conjures up the same thoughts for me, very beautiful

I like Athena, it’s a strong name.

Also..

Noah and Jessie
Noah and Evie
Noah and Aubrey

And just because it would make it very confusing in your household… Noah and Nora! 😜

How about Noah and Hannah? Biblical but not too "old"?

I think all the names on your list are lovely, and they work well with Noah.

Noah and Athena
Athena is a beautiful name. Timeless.
A granddaughter of the former queen of Denmark is named Athena, Countess Athena of Monpezat. Her mother is French and her father is Danish.

Noah and Sofia
Sofia is also a beautiful and timeless name, I think.

Noah and Robyn
Robyn is a really cute name. Makes me think of the Swedish singer Robyn ("Dancing On My Own"), and Rihanna (her first name is Robyn).

Noah and Lucia
Lucia is a beautiful name. I'm from a Scandinavian country where we celebrate the day of Saint Lucia on the 13th of December. It is to celebrate light and love during a very dark time of the year. A girl gets to wear a crown with candles in her hair.

I have a Joseph and a Robyn, Robyn means "Bright Fame" as in born to take centre stage and boy, has she.

I wanted a girls name different from the world of Evie and Ava's....

Athena is prob my favourite of your list, I think it would work, and I don’t think it would be naturally shortened.

Sofia is ok, as long as you are prepared to deal with a lifetime of people assuming it’s Sophia.

Lucia sounds nice, but I would pronounce it Lu-chee-a, and I suspect others would too.

Robyn is ok, though I’m not sure it has the same vibe as Noah?

My first thought was Noah and Phoebe.
