I like Nora Faith and Rufus with any of the middle names.

Moreteaandchocolate · 24/03/2024 20:47

What lovely names!

I think my favourite of your girl’s names is Nora Faith, but I like them all.

From your boys names I like Ralph Spencer best. Barnaby is a bit less to my taste, but could grow on me.

If I'm allowed to mix and match, I'd choose

Nora Evangeline

and

Barnaby James

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 24/03/2024 21:17

Faith but as first name

Barnaby James

Ikeameatballs · 24/03/2024 21:20

I like all of your boys names but struggling with your girl name combinations. As @SageRosemary suggests Nora Evangeline is my favourite but you do then have vowel end/vowel start which can give an “r” sound if you say them together too quickly but imo this is not an issue.

Girl:
Nora Faith Not keen on either
Tess Evangeline Like both but not together
Etta Jolene Etta okay, Jolene hard pass

Tess with different middle name (Jaime?) or just Tess

Boy:
Rufus Lachlan Like both
Ralph Spencer Not keen on either
Barnaby James BJ nope

Rufus Lachlan

LemonJuice92 · 24/03/2024 21:39

Love love love Etta and Nora - not keen on either middle spots you have with those though.

I love Barnaby James but I did also notice the initials would be BJ 😩

I like both Ralph and Spencer but just don’t feel like they work together. I think Rufus Spencer and Ralph Lachlan work better - maybe because the S in Rufus and Spencer ties together and so does the L in Ralph and Lachlan.

I think all fhe boys options flow well but the combo of first and middle names for the girls list just don't sit well together. I think first and middle name should flow together

Mumofgirls2017 · 24/03/2024 22:24

Nora/ Etta and Rufus

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 24/03/2024 22:30

Personally I would hate to be called Nora but your baby your choice of name.

Faith is a beautiful first name.
Etta is pretty but depending on where you live or the circles that you move in - Etta might end up b getting pronounced as E-ah or Et-aaaaah

Tess Evangeline or Rufus Lachlan I like.

Whycantiwinmillionsandsquillions · 24/03/2024 22:36

I don’t get the love for Nora, I think it’s awful. I only like Evangeline from your girls list.
I like all of your boys names. Rufus is my favourite.

PickledScrump · 24/03/2024 23:50

i think Etta Faith sounds better, although personally would choose Faith Evangeline.

Boys I’d go Barnaby James or Rufus James

AdaColeman · 25/03/2024 00:07

I like all of your boy's names, though I prefer Rafe to Ralph.

I like Faith and Evangeline from your list. Etta is my least favourite name on your list.

Names you might like are Corinna, Honor, Marguerite, Dulcie.

Smallonesaremorejuicy · 25/03/2024 00:12

Ralph is rather nice

TheAverageJoanne · 25/03/2024 00:27

I really don't like Nora. Some old lady names work but this is like Vera. There was a girl in our class at school called Nora and she got so much teasing and stood out for the wrong reasons among all of us called Claire, Sophie, Laura, Joanne, Gemma etc. but that was the 90s and old fashioned names weren't popular.

Having said that I've just given my opinion on Harmony-Faith and Kaydee-Rose which is much less favourable.

Saffy118 · 25/03/2024 07:32

I like the boys names but not the girls names. I particularly dislike Tess.

Qeswoo · 25/03/2024 07:56

I really like Etta but not Jolene. I'd combine Etta Faith from your list

Daisybuttercup12345 · 11/05/2024 22:32

Faith as a first name. Elizabeth as 2nd name
.Vincent James.

KirstenBlest · 12/05/2024 13:29

Girl:
Nora Faith - Prefer Norah to Nora, prefer Faith to Norah
Tess Evangeline - love Tess, dislike Evangeline
Etta Jolene - Ate a Jolene. Etta doesn't seem like a name, Jolene a bit too linked to a song

Would use Tess Norah. I'd bin Etta Jolene.

Boy:
Rufus Lachlan - fine
Ralph Spencer - Raif or Ralf?
Barnaby James - nice but James is a filler middle name

James is my favourite, then Barnaby. I'd bin Ralph Spencer.

SprigatitoYouAndIKnow · 12/05/2024 13:45

I read Forever by Judy Blume at an impressionable age, so cansee Ralph without smirking. Also, it is slang for vomit.

No issues with any of your inheritance names particularly love Rufus.

Nora Faith - I'm not keen on Nora but love Faith and the two go well together.
Tess Evangeline - Again, not keen on Tess but love Evangeline and they're a good combo. I'd flip them and have Evangeline Tess.
Etta Jolene - I like Etta. Not sure about Jolene but it goes well and it's fine as a middle name.

Rufus Lachlan - I like Lachlan. Rufus just makes me think 'dog'
Ralph Spencer - not keen. Spencer is ok.
Barnaby James - I like this. But I know a Barnaby who goes by Barn (as in a shed) which really puts me off it.
